Making it easier to find products from the great brands we feature
What’s the point of having thousands of products from small, sustainable brands if you can’t find what you’re looking for?
Introducing a new search feature now published on OtterList.com designed to make it easier to shop your values.
Here’s what the new search can do:
• Predictive typing. Start typing and search helps fill in the rest
• Built-in spellcheck. Typos won’t block good results anymore
• Understands intent, not just exact words. Powered by synonym groups that will continue improving over time.
And once you find results, you can filter by what matters to you.
On the search results page, you can narrow products down by “Core Standards” and “Certifications” the values listed on every product.
Our mission is to make it easy to find and support small, sustainable brands. To me, this means bringing them all together in one place, and making it easy and convenient to buy from them.
I say this a lot, but it’s true, this really is just the beginning.
Also, wanted to share that we’re only a few hundred paid subscribers on Substack away from me being able to go full-time and put even more of my time and energy into building the future of shopping small. That’s incredibly exciting. The support I’ve received across social media, Substack and on the site itself has been truly humbling.
